Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival is one of four major annual festivals that occur at various times throughout the year at Epcot (Center) at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Included with valid park admission, the International Food and Wine Festival (often referred to simply as “Food and Wine” by locals and “parkheads” like myself) features an array of festival-exclusive Global Marketplaces (“food booths”) serving cuisine inspired by countries and cultures around the world, as well as the Eat to the Beat Concert Series (also included with valid park admission), and two scavenger hunt activities (Emile’s Fromage Montage and Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak). From late September thru the beginning of November, festival-goers may also choose to participate in a third scavenger hunt activity, themed to autumn and Halloween: Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit. Other entertainment opportunities exclusive to Epcot Food and Wine include the Jammin’ Chefs. Special merchandise is available during the festival, most of which changes every year, including Spirit Jerseys, LUG bags, Loungefly bags, and ear headbands.
I celebrate the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival every year in my Valley within my Epcot build in the Peaceful Meadow biome. Balloon arches at every entrance to the Peaceful Meadow signal that another festival season has begun at Epcot (I celebrate all four Epcot festivals in my Valley). Decorations surrounding the Figment topiary indicate precisely which festival season we’ve entered: this year, I attempted to emulate, as closely as possible, the actual decorations currently live at the entrance to the park. The 2026 Food and Wine Festival marks the 30th Anniversary of this festival, and the decor this year highlights that, featuring pink birthday cake motifs. I used the two different sets of luggage from the One Hundred and One Dalmatians collection which we received from Scrooge’s shop in Wishblossom Ranch to replicate the luggage seen in the real decoration at Epcot’s entry. I added the Ratatouille Fridge with Notes to further communicate that this is the Food and Wine Festival. On both sides, I added the crafted small white display columns we received in the Timon and Pumbaa publish and on top of each of these I placed a pink birthday cake (5 star dessert; cooked).
The main entry to my Epcot build is the stairs leading down from the Plaza, of course. I have turned this entry area of the Peaceful Meadow into the area currently understood as World Celebration (the central hub which guests first encounter upon entering Epcot), with Stitch’s House serving to represent Spaceship Earth. During Food and Wine, this serves as the introduction to my celebration, but it’s really only the beginning. Facing into the Meadow and traveling to the left, one can circle around my very own World Showcase, beginning with the Mexico Pavilion. I maintain representations of every World Showcase Pavilion except America in my Meadow (the front of Stitch’s house is where the America Pavilion would be). During Food and Wine, festival goers may encounter the aforementioned Global Marketplaces at each of these country and culture-inspired pavilions, and that is also true in my Valley. This year, I’m especially excited to install the new San Fransokyo Food Stall from the Pop City Star Path in my Japan Pavilion! Remy’s Restaurant over in my France Pavilion will also get a special update for the festival, as I’ll be reskinning it with the Storybook Vale Autumn-themed appearance.
Stay tuned, as next week, I hope to do a full guide on how to host your own Epcot International Food and Wine Festival in the Valley, with a full gallery of the deco in my Epcot build in the Peaceful Meadow, including my interior festival space that emulates the Muppets Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey Restaurant.
